Passion fuels success

The law is reason free from passion. – Aristotle

There is one sure thing that occurs everyday, day in and day out. That thing is called passion. Whatever we decide on what we’re going to be passionate about, is solely up to ourselves. It could be as simple as a cup of coffee, or as complex as directing a cinematic play. Regardless of what it is, we decide this in the first few moments of waking up.

Unlocking our potential involves passion. Without passion, we limit ourselves to only reason. Reason is a safety net we all tend to follow, because it is what is known. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but to merely follow reason on its own, causes us to become blind to possibility.

Passion drives everything we do daily, from present day and anything we do in the future. With that in mind, our passions evolve based on our daily interactions and experiences. Sometimes experiences can be bad, sometimes really good. Whatever we face, it is our duty to ourselves to remain focused.

Focusing on our passions can lead us to success. Setting goals helps us reach it. We can tackle bigger goals by dividing them into miniature goals. The passion that drives us to meet these goals keeps us accountable. Have you ever noticed why successful people succeed? It’s because they never lose their focus on what they’re passionate about. Once you have that passion, it inspires dreams of what the future may hold, not just for you, but for others as well.
